Neighborhood Watch Committee:
The Tradewinds Neighborhood Watch Committee, in cooperation with on-site security officers and the San Jose Police Department, works to prevent crime and reduce fear. The Committee forges bonds among the complex’s residents, helps to reduce burglaries and robberies, and helps to improve relations between residents and local law enforcement. The Committee meets quarterly, and new members are always welcomed.

Safety Committee:
The Tradewinds Safety Committee works to ensure the safety of residents, community guests and property. Selected members of the Committee meet together once a week to walk the complex to check for anything that has the potential to cause harm—cracked sidewalks, burned-out light fixtures, broken glass, abandoned trash, etc. New members are always welcomed.

Welcoming Committee:
Moving into a new area can be stressful and lonely. The Tradewinds Welcoming Committee visits all new residents, and provides them with a welcoming packet that includes helpful resources and ideas for acclimating to the new surroundings. The Welcoming Committee meets monthly, and new members are always welcomed.
